Good morning!

We have filled our current fostering needs!  This has been a busy year for the rescue and we are so grateful to the foster homes that were able to respond to our urgent request for foster homes, as well as all those already fostering right now. I know that many of us are frustrated that we cannot foster for various reasons but your support of our mission in other ways is always appreciated!
We would encourage you to promote our foster program with people you know have the skills needed to foster.
Gratefully,
Mary Scopp
Foster Home Coordinator

Thank you for attending the MWCR Dinner

Thank you to everyone who attended MWCR’s Annual Dinner Meeting and Fundraiser yesterday, Nov. 3. People had a good time. In fact, a few people from the bar area of the American Legion joined in the festivities and participated in the silent auction.

We had a dynamic speaker in Katie K9, a large silent auction, goodies from Gray Gables Farm and Spirit Graphics, and time for collie lovers to gather and share stories.

It was great to see familiar faces and to meet new people, including Ben Dobkin, our newest volunteer who is working on graphic design projects, and Elizabeth, a foreign exchange student from Denmark who is living with Jennifer and Jeff Krause.  Plus, a number of youngsters attended this year.

Thank you to those who brought wonderful items for the silent auction and to those who brought delicious desserts.

Thank you to everyone who brought donations for MyLinda and Neal Anderson to take to the Dominican Republic to help the abandoned dogs.  They may need to pack a couple of extra suitcases!

And of course, a big thank you to our team of volunteers who worked hard to make the event a success.

Thanks again for supporting MWCR and we look forward to seeing you next year.
