Buddy Boy, an 8-year-old mahogany sable, has been adopted and will be living in Minnesota. When Buddy’s owner passed away he ended up in a shelter because the family couldn’t care for him. Although gentle Buddy was very stressed in the shelter environment, he quickly blossomed once he got into his foster home and now has his very own loving forever home. This sweet, mellow little guy has already started on an exercise program to help him shed a bit of excess weight and we are so excited to see him starting the next chapter of his life!
Handsome Homer, a 3-year-old sable/white collie/sheltie mix, has been adopted and will be living in Wisconsin. Homer was surrendered to MWCR by a good samaritan who rescued him from a place where he had no room to play and even less attention. His new family is happy to give him the love and affection he needs as well as a canine buddy for playtime and a couple kitties to let him know who’s boss. Congratulations to this sweet boy!
Several puppies have gone off to their new homes. Congratulations to all the families that are exchanging beauty sleep for puppy cuteness!
Regal boy Royal, now named Leo, has been adopted and will be living in Minnesota. This sweet boy was surrendered due to a move and although he had been an outdoor dog in his previous life, you can clearly see that he understands what a couch is for 🙂
Spunky Twain has been adopted and will be living in Wisconsin. This little cutie is lucky enough to be joining another MWCR collie brother and uncle in his new home. I’m sure they’ll teach him the ropes in no time 🙂
Beautiful Letty, a 7-month-old sable/white female, has been adopted and will be living in Illinois. Letty was surrendered because her rambunctious teenage ways were not a good fit for her home but fortunately the perfect place was just waiting for her. She’s now part of a loving extended collie family and will have lots of fun playing with her own collie siblings and nearby nieces (including an MWCR alumni). Congratulations sweet girl!
Travis, a 5-year-old sable/white male, has been adopted and will be living in Wisconsin. Originally Travis came to MWCR after he was abandoned in a vacant home when his family had to move and he was not allowed in their new place. A good Samaritan who noticed him in the house as she walked her dog past it every day contacted MWCR, who contacted the local canine officer, who found the owner and convinced him to surrender the dog to MWCR. With the help of MWCR, Travis found what he thought would be his forever home but sadly all that ended three short years later when his owner suddenly became critically ill. After her death this handsome boy found himself back with MWCR and looking for another loving home. Happily, he will now be sharing his playtime with his new mom and dad and another energetic MWCR collie who I’m sure will keep him entertained. Congratulations to this wonderful boy!
And then there were none 🙂 All the pups have found their new homes – nothing as sweet as a collie puppy!
