February Adoptions

By Sarah Rebernick, Adoption Coordinator

Wesley, an 8-year-old tricolor male smoothie, has been adopted and will be living in Minnesota. Wesley was surrendered to MWCR due to his owner’s financial difficulties. He was originally an outdoor dog but adjusted quickly to his new indoor privileges, although he does have some trouble with stairs. Wesley’s new home has some kitties and two non-furry siblings for him to snuggle with and his new mom and dad are more than happy to help him with any mobility issues he may have. Congratulations!

Destiny, a 2-3-year-old mahogany sable female collie mix, came to MWCR as a stray from a local humane society. Although she was in pretty rough shape when she arrived, this sweet girl’s playful, happy personality shone through. Her new home has a great fenced yard and mom and dad are home almost all the time to give her all the attention she could want. She’ll even have lots of visiting grandkids and their pets to play with. Definitely a Valentine’s wish come true.

DixieDixie, a 2-3 year old sable/white female who was surrendered due to changing life circumstances, will be staying in Wisconsin with her foster mom and dad permanently. And who can blame them when you have a cute face like this to wake up to in the morning! She will be sharing her new home with some kitty siblings and a visiting doggie brother. Congratulations!
